Article 9.8
Public & Media Relations Committee

The Chairman of the Public Relations Committee will be the Federation's official spokesperson. The Committee may include a professional advisor if deemed necessary.

The responsibilities of the committee are:

9.8.1. To promote the WAFF and the sport of Amputee football to disability organizations; the sporting press, and to the mass media and to the general public.

9.8.2. To assist the member associations in the development of effective public relations and mass media strategies for their own countries.

9.8.3. To respond in a most timely manner to any and all inquiries regarding our sport.

9.8.4. To acquire and maintain photos, biographies and statistics on elite class footballers.

9.8.5. To collect and maintain statistics on international competitions,

9.8.6. To advise the Secretary General and WAFF committees on matters of public relations, and relationships with the mass media.

9.8.7. To develop proposals regarding WAFF publications (print, electronic, and audio-visual) and, if need be, assist in their conception and preparation.

9.8.8. To create organization, national association, officer and player background information and photographs for use by the major media.

9.8.9 To establish press accreditation criteria and procedures for media representatives at major events, to develop, coordinate and to supervise media opportunities, and to manage press conference and interviews.

9.8.10. To provide the assistance necessary for the production of training films.

9.8.11.  To elaborate humanitarian projects designed to promote federation football, as well as to advise upon and participate in them.
